The translucent glass doors from the original model are gone too - replaced by ones made of the same opaque thermoplastic that's utilized in the rest of the plug-in sports car's body.

Upon taking a seat inside the cabin of the i8 Concept Spyder, things continue to change. The interior is more down to earth than its coupe counterpart. It features center console is more conservative in its style, with features like climate control being utilized by actual buttons.
