Own a BMW? Or, have always dreamed of owning a BMW and love to ski? This one's for you! BMW, in cooperation with world-renowned, ski-maker K2 LTD, is designing 500 limited-edition downhill skis. With a snow-white background, red and blue accents and understated BMW logo at the toe, they look as fast as they perform with cutting-edge K2 Baseline technology and distinctive blend of camber and rocker sensibilities.
To avoid getting your hopes up any higher, Preston BMW will come right out and tell you: These skis will not be available in stores. Sorry to disappoint. However, all is not lost.
If you enter the BMW xDrive Cup competition online, you'll have the opportunity to win the limited-edition skis - for free. That's right; each of the 500 pairs of skis BMW and K2 LTD produce will be awarded as prizes to leading Cup participants.
What is the BMW xDrive Cup? Essentially, it's a competition BMW is hosting with Skiline for non-professional skiers and snowboarders.
To participate, all drivers have to do is purchase a ski pass at one of the BMW xDrive Cup destinations, enjoy carving the powder on your way down, remember your ski pass number ([Dealer] recommends snapping it with your smartphone)...and last but not least, register online at http://www.bmw-xdrive-guide.com/xd_en/bmw_xdrive_cup/login, enter your ski pass number.
Participants will then be given badges... To be part of the monthly lottery drawing for the K2 LTD BMW M Design Edition skis, contestants must accumulate at least five badges, which can be earned via multiples disciplines. Preston BMW, located at 3843 Youngstown Road South, Warren, OH, wishes those decide to participate the best of luck. And, we invite everyone to stay tuned for more BMW news - from new BMW model launches to competitions - coming soon.
