AutoGuide.com Goes into Hysterics over High-Flying 2016 BMW M2

October 21st, 2016 by

It was during a recent review of BMW’s spanking-new sports coupe, the 2016 M2, that AutoGuide.com Features Editor Sami Haj-Assaad just about lost his mind. From style to performance and everything in between, Mr. Haj-Assaad had love for it all.

Might this top-flight two-door make you flip your wig, too? Have a look and listen right here:

We quite simply can’t say enough about the M2’s engine, a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder. Offered with your choice of either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed automated-manual (DCT), this six-banger turns out a titanic 365 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque.

And though it’s largely about next-level power and performance, the M2 has an economical side, as well. This is especially true of DCT-equipped models, as they’re expected to return a respectable 23 mpg combined (20 city/27 highway).

To learn more about this sports coupe sensation, or to take one for a spin, we suggest you set a course for our Boardman, OH location. Our automotive aces are on hand to address your every query about the M2, or any other BMW model within the current lineup.
